Dates for more Suffolk Sinfonia concerts published

Dates of Suffolk Sinfonia concerts in 2011 and 2012 have been published on the SuffolkMusic website (http://suffolkmusic.co.uk/view/concerts). The programmes for the 2010 series have also been published.

Suffolk Sinfonia dinner menu 25 Nov 2009

Below is the menu from the Fox for the dinner on 25th November. Carol-Anne will take definite orders after half-term with all payments being given to her by the final rehearsal which is a week before the dinner.

The cost will be around £18 for 2 courses and £21 for 3 - although they will do a single for around £14.

The rehearsals on 4th November and 18th November 2009 will swap. This means that we will rehearse the 'Emperor' with Tim Carey on the 18th November. The updated rehearsal schedule is at http://suffolkmusic.co.uk/rehearsals.

Suffolk Sinfonia Subscriptions Autumn 2009

Subscriptions for Suffolk Sinfonia players remain unchanged at £20 per term (£35 for a couple paying jointly). Forms are available for gift-aiding money paid to the Suffolk Sinfonia and for paying by standing order. Full details on the subscriptions page.

Suffolk Sinfonia autumn term 2009 rehearsal schedule

The Suffolk Sinfonia rehearsal schedule for the Autumn term is now available - see the rehearsals page. The first rehearsal is on Wednesday 23rd September at South Lee School. The orchestra will be rehearsing Coriolan and Eroica all evening.

Autumn rehearsals start on 23rd September 2009

The first Suffolk Sinfonia rehearsal of the 2009 Autumn term will be at 7:30 at South Lee School on Wednesday 23rd September. This is a week later than given in the provisional rehearsal schedule - there is now no rehearsal on 16th September. You can find the full rehearsal schedule on the rehearsals page. The programme is all Beethoven.

Rehearsal dates for Autumn 2009

The date's for netxt term's (Autumn 2009) rehearsals have been published - see the rehearsals page.

Provisionally these rehearsals are all at South Lee, but in the autumn term they sometimes have a PTA on a Wednesday and an alternative venue has to be found. However we don't know this until the beginning of term in September.
