Suffolk Sinfonia dinner menu 25 Nov 2009
Below is the menu from the Fox for the dinner on 25th November. Carol-Anne will take definite orders after half-term with all payments being given to her by the final rehearsal which is a week before the dinner.
The cost will be around £18 for 2 courses and £21 for 3 - although they will do a single for around £14.
We are just waiting to hear if they include a service charge or not - might need to add a little on if not!!
It was suggested that if the vegetarians wanted more of a choice they could take pot luck with whats on the menu board that night! Any veggie problems please talk to Carol-Anne!
To start
- tomato and mozzarella crostini with roquette pesto v
- chicken liver and tarragon parfait with a Cumberland sauce and a granary slice
- prawn salad with a sweet chilli mayonnaise
- creamed cauliflower soup with locally baked bread v
Main courses
- confit of gressingham duck with braised red cabbage and fondant potato
- baked salmon with a hollandaise crust organic raised, crusted and served with melted cherry tomatoes and crushed new potatoes
- char grilled vegetables and parmesan polenta cake with a roquette salad v
- pan roasted norfolk chicken breast free range chicken with a tomato and basil jus and fresh seasonal vegetables
Desserts - all chef’s own
- vanilla pannacotta with a raspberry compote
- sticky toffee pudding with toffee sauce and vanilla ice cream
- marbled chocolate cheesecake
